Jeg har gennem specialet skitseret en teknologisk og samfundsmæssig udvikling, der har ændret ved
samfundets organisations- og kommunikationsformer. Jeg vil kortfattet opsamle, hvordan dette påvir-
ker mit problemfelt, nærmere bestemt hvordan det påvirker kommunikationens aktører og kommuni-
kationsmidlerne:
Web 2.0:
Wisdom of Crowds: Den kollektive viden er lige så værdifuld eller bedre end eksperternes
Webbet er en platform: Applikationer er ikke bundet til computere, de kan afvikles i enhver
browser. Det betyder for eksempel, at man via det mobile internet kan have konstant og ikke-
stedsbunden adgang til data
Åbenhed: Både i ideologisk og teknologisk forstand; open source (åben kilde) og open content
– med open source-software kan man bruge og tilpasse et program efter egne behov. Åbent
indhold betyder gennemsigtighed, fleksibilitet, frit valg, åben tilgang til kommunikation og
åben adgang til indhold samt distribueret ejerskab
Samarbejde: Potentialet ved distribueret forfatterskab, også kaldet peer production, hvor di-
stribuerede brugeres kollektive viden, ressourcer og evner sammenlagt skaber nye produkter
og idéer gennem horisontale netværk
Interaktion: Brugere interagerer med indhold og med virksomheder på et globalt plan. Brugere
bliver ’prosumers’ og kommunikationens distinktion mellem afsender- og modtagerroller er
irrelevant.
Som disse tendenser indikerer, er Web 2.0 grundlæggende en udfoldelse af kommunikationsparadig-
met kommunikation som interaktion. Det ideologiske fundament er socialt og bygger på fællesskab,
samarbejde, deling og interaktion. Som jeg har argumenteret for ved at gradbøje interaktionsbegrebet,
findes der dog to former for social interaktion som ofte forbindes med Web 2.0; den ene form, regi-
strerende interaktion, kan betegnes mere som reaktioner på andre frem for egentlige interaktioner
med andre, mens den anden, konversationel interaktion, ligger tættere på selve ordet interaktions
grundbetydning, det vil sige som en vekselvirkning, hvor grupper eller individer gennem deres gensi-
dige handlinger skaber mening i en dynamisk decentral proces. Det er dog ikke alt indhold på Web 2.0,
der skal kommenteres eller udbygges og derfor er transmittativ og konsultativ interaktion stadig rele-
vante og benyttede kommunikationsformer – de ville være oplagte til museumshjemmesidernes prak-
tiske niveau om åbningstider, oplysninger om aktuelle udstillinger, aktiviteter osv. Desuden tyder mu-
seernes kernebrugeres anvendelse af museernes hjemmesider på, at de vil foretrække,
